COMPUTATIONAL LABORATORY (DV3207)

An advanced system of five computer workstations is available in the RSSEM lab. A set of remote sensing professional software packages including Geomatica Total Educational Suites and eCognition Developer v8.0 Educational is available in the lab.

ANALYTICAL LABORATORY (DV1079)

A collaborative analytic laboratory (recently renovated and shared with three PIs) provides the infrastructure for the preparation and basic analysis of vegetation/soil/water samples, including sample sorting, identification, and sampling preparation for subsequent biochemical analysis. Major field equipment includes two hand-held state-of-the-art ASD spectroradiometers, a plant canopy analyzer, an area meter, a handheld chlorophyll content meters, GPS units, a blimp, a linear stage lab imaging system, a UAV, and multispectral, thermal, liDAR and hyperspectral imagers.
