Seizan Site, Hakodate - 1974
Seizan dates to the Late Jomon. The site was being rescued when I participated in my 1st field season at Hamanasuno. I paid a visit to get some samples from a late period site in the region. A few flotation samples indicate more nut use than apparent in earlier periods in the region.
