Hamanasuno Site ハマナスノ遺跡
Hamanasuno Excavations
Hamanasuno is Early Jomon, Ento-Kaso tradition. At least one Miiddle Jomon house was found here, but just why one house is from a later period is unknown (House 30b below that was bult over/through an Early Jomon house). Houses are much larger than the Middle Jomon houses at Usujiri B and grinding stones (ishizara) are ubiquitous on the pit house floors.
